Lisa Douthit is an Integrative Health Consultant who is passionate about healing from all perspectives. After struggling with multiple bouts of cancer and autoimmune disease, no one understands the physical, spiritual, and emotional rollercoaster better than she does.
Somewhere between contracting lymphoma and her Myasthenia Gravis diagnosis, she made it her mission to understand the lessons available to us through illness. Also, as a homeopath, Reiki Master, Theta practitioner and through expensive nutrition education, she learned how to recreate herself and others from the inside out.
Lisa currently lives in Southern California with her husband and three children. When not working or handling her own health, she loves spending time with them in the Eastern Sierras discovering uncharted roads in the summer and skiing in the winter.
She also enjoys finding new vegan, gluten-free recipes to make for her family and friends. She is very involved with her favorite local nonprofit organization in Long Beach, CA, C.O.A. (http://www.coalongbeach.org, donations welcome), which provides over 100,000 free meals annually to homeless and very low income families. She and her daughters can be seen serving breakfast to the guests on a weekly basis.
